What happens on the day?
A great introduction to hovercrafts. The experience starts with a safety briefing, and short land based training session. You will start learning the basic skills of flying a hovercraft, as you progress you will move onto water. Before long you'll be whizzing around, spinning, stopping and starting, moving from land to water. As you progress you will have the opportunity to learn more difficult manoeuvres. You will be equipped with life jackets from Crewsaver, jackets from GUL, high quality headsets from Neptune, and helmets from Gecko. The hovercraft are made in the UK and designed specifically for leisure, easy to learn how to drive, and it's designed to be at home in marine conditions, complete with plenty of inbuilt buoyancy so you float like a cork if you stop on water. Tailored professional tuition that will take you from novice to competent driver quickly. Gift package includes a personalised voucher.
Choice of Locations
Basildon (ESSEX). Our exclusive location in Essex is about 40 miles from Central London, you will have access to a 6 acre lake and the surrounding field. Details of how to get to the location are sent out when you book.

Available all year round.
How long does it last?
You should allow 1.5 hours for the whole experience, you will spend approximately 45 minutes in the hovercraft.
Are spectators allowed?
You can bring your friends and family to watch.
What should I wear?
You will be provided with splash jackets, waterproof trousers, life jackets, protective ear and eye wear on the experience. There is no need to get your feet wet on your event because you will get into and out of the hovercraft on land. But to ensure that you are warm enough you should dress appropriately for the weather, with sensible non-slip shoes.
Restrictions
You must be at least 16 years old. Reasonable agility is required to get into the hovercraft, if you have any concerns please call us 0845 226 0748. Your weight should not exceed 120kgs. You don't need any driving or boating experience.
Is this activity weather dependent?
Hovercraft can be flown in most weather however some conditions are not suitable such as wind conditions of more than force 4. We will call you if the event cannot be held that day.
