What happens on the day?
This is a fantastic opportunity to sail on board one of these magnificent ships. The day starts at 10 am when you will be welcomed on board with tea and coffee. The ship will then head out of the port and set sail. The ship's crew will be very glad of some help with the sails but if you prefer to sit back and watch others doing the hard work this is fine too!
Depending upon weather conditions we will aim to sail throughout the day and return to port at 5 pm. Lunch and afternoon tea are provided during the day.

Availability is on specific dates during the summer months.
How long does it last?
The day is from 10 am to 5 pm and the sailing opportunities will depend upon the weather on the day.
Are spectators allowed?
Spectators are welcome to see the ship off from Portsmouth.
What should I wear?
Please wear flat-soled shoes and bring a few layers of clothing. Even in the summer it can get chilly on the water. We recommend a t-shirt, jumper or fleece and a showerproof jacket. You may also want to bring a pair of shorts to change into if the weather looks promising.
Restrictions
There are no age restrictions although only a few children can be taken at a time as a limited number of child life jackets are carried. No child discounts are available.
Unfortunately, the ships are not suitable for wheelchair access and anyone with restricted mobility should bear in mind that the toilets are located below deck. If you are in any doubt please call to discuss.
Is this activity weather dependent?
This activity is only affected in extreme wind conditions. It will be the ship's captain's decision on the day whether the ship sails or not. Should the captain rule that it is unsafe to leave port on the day the vessel and ordered services will remain at the disposal of the Customer at the quayside.
Is this activity suitable for groups?

This activity is suitable for groups of up to 100 people although if you are looking for an exclusive charter we recommend that you contact us for a bespoke quotation.
